very impressive, both the photo and resolution/sharpness.

Some photos in Bled, Slovenia during my recent trip to Eastern Europe. All shot with kit lens 14-42mm. Didn't manage to get the 7-14 beforehand but I'm happy with the 14-42.

99 steps to the top. A local tradition at weddings is for the husband to carry his new bride up these steps, during which the bride must remain silent

@yujun: hehe, such a laugh. I come from Slovenia and I never thought I would see something familiar on this forum :) hehe. I am probably only Slovenian here. I hope you enjoyed your stay here. I joined the forum because of very good e-p1 support, thanks guys!

I also visited Postojna Caves and had a city tour. I was on tour so the schedule was pretty tight. Would definitely love to go back again and swim in the lake at Bled! :)

Wonderful B&W, offspring .

Some IR from the E-P1, using Lumix 20mm f/1.7 lens, and Hoya R72 infrared filter. The E-P1 can still "see" through this dark filter in bright light, and AF too (except in dark shadow areas).

This one is awesome! Looks so 3D. Hmm. Maybe it's time I put that IR filter I bought to good use with the EP1. :bsmilie: But ... I hate carrying a tripod. Hmm. Maybe my gorrilapod can help. :D

Thanks, guys, just having fun and sharing :). Scrounged around a bit to find my old IR filters.

Ndroo, I shot these on a gloomy day with a Gorillapod, no bright sunlight, like about to rain. On a very bright day, pushing up to IS0 800, opening up to f/2, one will probably get about 6 stops more, and with IS allow handholding. I don't like to carry heavy-duty tripods too, but since the E-P1 is like a compact, I'm on the lookout for a really small cheap light one used for pns sized like a Gorillapod when folded. Can be useful sometimes.

Shot in RAW, always comes out in color (although the jpeg in B&W is fine too, I'm just used to RAW), and processed to B&W. Some notes I found at the IR section, for color -> http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316576
