shane33, I think the 16g sdhc card will fit, afterall they're same size as the 4g and 8g. if its any fatter longer or boarder then I'm sure it won't fit.

Buz3rd, Dashtan has better deal. Same price but with additional UV filter & screen protector. I wonder if we 3 buy together will get good deal??

i got mine for $610 au with a 16gig class 6 sdhc card and 2 year warranty deliverd to my door next day witch is today hopefully i can get some shots in today if it comes early enough

Called alan, simlim also quoted me 600 w/o gst and 642 with gst + 4Gb card and bag.

The TZ series is designed for main purpose as it's name suggested "Travel Zoom", it offered the best size/zoom ratio for its category. However having own both TZ & FZ series camera, The picture quality of the TZ is not a match for the FZ (if you zoom to 100%).
However it is sufficient for most, who just want a good PnS camera who offer a fantastic zoom range in a small package.

For all the "shots" question.... the winner is FZ...
The TZ15 with EZ have a total of 16.9x zoom, please bear in mind most PnS have only 3x zoom.... hence 10x zoom is more than enough for most situation.

EZ = Extra Zoom, it is not digital zoom. Hence no loss in image quality. However you get a smaller resolution instead. I normally disable "digital zoom" in all my digital camera, as I found it generally useless.
Please remember the TZ & FZ are camera designed for different purposes, you can put a TZ into your pocket, but you can "never" do it on a FZ.
The FZ28 offer a max of 32.1x ( EZ zoom)
I'm not very sure but what i know is i cant even see or stand a chance to see what is written there from where i was standing..lol..

What is Extra Zoom? Is it an add-on lense?
When to MS, bargain with a lady there (never like to deal with saleslady 'cos they rarely gives an inch) the best I got is 640+screen protector (4g & case are standard supply so shouldn't be negoiated). She then offer Nikon umbrella. Alamak! She couldn't be creative enough. After I walk out the store she offer to throw in Cleaning Kit. She's holding her cards too close to her chest. All the while I think she thought its a done deal. But I thought otherwise. I've spoken to AP SLS and new stock will arrive Friday afternoon. Will get same deal as Dashtan has. Bargaining very tiring man.

BTW, what is Extra Zoom ? I know its not the digital zoom 'cos that was mentioned in earlier post. So is this EZ an add-on like the T-Con ?
