Shes a corgi with very unique face markings.

Love the shot of Foxy, from her expression, to her pose and even the backdrop which seems to compliment her fur colour (hope i'm making sense! :bsmilie:)!

I'm new.
Only using my Canon Ixus 70.

Can comment how to improve my photography skills? Err.. discount the type of equpiment (coz i very broke to buy new ones. )

I'd say you are on the right track going down to thier eye level to take them. Composition wise try not to center it too much like in the first post and aslo cause its strongly back lighted it causes the front to be underexposed so you will need a fill flash or try to shoot your dog facing the light :)

That last pic has lost the highlight detils on the dogs face/nose which can be rectified by setting it to use a less constrasty tone curve then editing later.
