Any suggestion to solve this problem?
Tkz in advance...:(

There can be a few areas where you've made a wrong step depending on your workflow, and that wrong step will result in a domino effect in your final output.

All too common a mistake that even some old-school broadcast editors who are too used to 4:3 will make.
Did you edit native HD?
Did you downconvert before edit?
Did you select the right aspect ratio to work in and did you select the right aspect ratio during your DVD authoring?

ok edit native Hd Yes
downconvert before edit? not sure
Did you select the right aspect ratio to work in and did you select the right aspect ratio during your DVD authoring? yap..16:9
Tkz for the help...

ok, if you've edited in native HD, you need to output video for DVD authoring in a squeeze mode. Meaning that you should see a 4:3 picture, but everything in it is squeezed.
Then your DVD authoring software will recognise it as 16:9.

If you've output a 4:3 letterboxed image, meaning top & bottom have black bars, then your DVD should be in 4:3 mode, not 16:9.
When this happens, and if you've instructed your DVD to display 16:9, then your final output will be letterboxed within a letterbox, and picture looks squashed.

remember that no matter what, DVD are SD and PAL SD is only fixed resolution at 720x576. So 16:9 or 4:3 is still 720x576size, and the only difference is your content....4:3 squeezed for 16:9 display, letterboxed to fit 720 width in 4:3 aspect, or edge cropped.

Hope this helps.
