Full Frame DSLR

Some people said L lenses got special stuff that only FF can function it.

I think what the "some people" was trying to tell you is that FF bodies make full use of the L-lenses, instead of crop bodies using only partial of the L-lenses.

FF cam very restricted, cant use EFS lens, whereas a crop factor cam. you can use both the L and EFS. And what u going the shoot with. As u quota, your 350D can shoot nice pics then why change. Do your friends have any FF cam?

My 350D v old n there lots of hair lines due to improper care.

None of my friends into cam. I heard L lenses can use on none FF cam but some stuff don work due to only FF can do it. What that I don knw too.

If I'm a person that like to take nice n best photo n moving object stuff like F1. Which cam suit me best?

7D, 5D Mrk II?

I'm not into photo editing so what I usually do is snap n choose e best n nicest to keep.

Think u r rite! This what I heard... But what the partial that e crop cannot use??? Does it really play an important part???

It's just like wearing spectacles... you buy a bigger spectacle frame, you can see more of the world. You buy a smaller frame, you see less of the world. But the world is still the same right?

Similarly... the lens is THIS big. You use small sensor, you only use part of the lens. You use full frame, you make full use of the lens.

It's this simple...

So it means that there no point for me to buy a L lenses if I'm going for 7D rite? Cos L lenses meant for FF. Rite???

TS I think you have to read it carefully. If you don't understand what is the size of the sensor, getting a full frame only leads you the wrong way.

If you want to shoot F1, I recommend u get the 7D (1.6x APS-C crop sensor) but it comes with better focus tracking capabilities and 8 fps.

Alternatively, you join workshops and outings catered towards sports photography.

Firstly, 50D is not Full Frame, but it is APS-C.

Canon has 3 sensor formats in their DSLR market, namely full frame, aps-h, and aps-c.

What everyone is trying to explain to you is:

L and EF lenses allow light to reach the entire black rectangle area. They are built bigger (more glass) to allow the full frame (36x24mm) sensor to be exposed.

EFS lenses are built smaller because they are only designed for the smaller green frame area. They are a "crop" version of the full frame, and that's where the term "crop" is derived.

Obviously the L and EF lenses can be used on crop bodies (so long as the lens mount fits) because they are built bigger than the APSC sensor (22.3x14.9mm), but the APSC sensor only uses the inner circle of the lens.

I rather you read and understand more about digital photography first. And of course shoot more.

From your replies, you are obviously not ready to step-up from your 350D and not understanding what benefit or even what is Full Frame, crop factor etc..

Some people said L lenses got special stuff that only FF can function it.

Other than effective weather-seal when using L lens on Pro bodies, all EOS can use any EF L lens.

From what i can see, you know almost next to nothing about cameras.
You don't know what sets the L lenses apart from normal lenses.
You don't know whats the difference between a FF and a crop sensor.
You don't know what is "fps".
You simply want a FF camera because someone tells you it's good and makes L lenses do "special" stuff.

Do you shoot in Auto mode all the way? I have a strong feeling that you do.
If so, I highly suggest you do some intensive homework before getting another camera.

But of course if and I quote, "Price is not an important key to me.", then perhaps I'd suggest the 1DsMK3 or wait for the rumored-about-to-launch-state-of-the-art-and-whatnot 5DMK3.

I guess everyone start off with a good cam n learn to fully function it afterthen.

I'm just trying to gain more knowledge n don wish to buy another cam again if I bought a cam which I can't get what I wan.

Guess your reply seem fustrated on my Q.

FYI, I'm here like everyone as a newbie to learn n become a Pro. Not here to get lecture in order to learn.

No one are born to walk PLS!!!

Well said!

Even if u were given a 1D mark III/IV, if you don't know how to shoot sports, like set shutter, focusing mode, focus sensitivity, etc u wont get basic shots u need. If u don't know how to anticipate moments, u will miss all the good shots.

Money doesn't s

Money doesn't solve your problems. No one is lecturing you. What you need to do is learn first. If your friends are not into cameras, attend courses or workshops.

Maybe you need a simple upgrade from your current 350D. I recommend the 50D as a second hand, good enough.

50D 1.6 crop, 6.3fps.

If that e case. I might as well go for 7D 1.6 crop, 8fps.

I don reali trust 2nd hand as I do not knw Hw to check shutter counts n condition too.

...

Well... how long have you been using your 350D and how well have you understand it?

I've used 350D for many years and its not a lousy camera at all ;)

I think what most guys here are trying to tell you is not to jump into the buying craze before even understanding the basic.
