Hi, have you solved the problem? Make sure you're not in Macro mode. Only EVF is available when you're in it.

Sent the camera for repair and they changed the front and lens construction. They also helped me to upgrade to V1.03. Everything works fine now

i would personally prefer this, rather than using the adapter to mount a filter.

^ good idea. any review on the quality of the filter itself? proximity to the lens should help alot technically.

i bought it a while back, yet to install on my set but quality looks very good.

there's a reason why its that cheap
maybe for non critical applications where you need that reach like video.... for stills i'd be tempted to crop to get a larger image.
if you're getting it post some pics here!

there's a built in nd filter already. maybe double that up with normal nd filters (common size = cheaper) + polarizers?

Yup if direct or thru sync cord. Wireless wise not all can, pixel king can't

yup B+W brand.. got it from a seller of filters brand new $50 in clubsnap.. do a search.. X100s 49mm thread so cheaper
