LiquifireX -- Just bought a SanDisk Extreme UHS-1 Class 10. Says "up to 45mb/s". Wow, a world of difference! It's super snappy shot to shot, hardly see the "loading" screen. The SD-card-writing LED is not blinking as long. Even previewing (loading) photos is faster.

New owners should definitely invest in a Class 10 UHS-1.

FYI, bought mine from Best Bargain at Sim Lim Sq, 32gb, $38.40. Cheapest I could find BUT... it's Shop warranty, not SanDisk distro... So if shop closes down, bye bye warranty. That being said, this shop has been around for some time... so *cross fingers.

I used the JJC brand (third party) Lens Hood Set, which came with the filter adaptor, I got it at $35 at T* Photo.

Noise is alright but how about the dynamic range? Especially the colors?

in fact everything to me seems good. i dun do any / much comparison nor pixel peep so long as the output please my eye.

Seem like x100s use smaller USB interface, different from x100 and other cameras. So far I did not come across any remote electronic trigger for x100s (I guess intervalometer use same interface), can only use manual one mounted on the trigger.

My friend lend me her X100 few months back with FW1.30.

Significant upgrades of X100s:- (Based on my memory of X100)
1) Speed - AF, UI quickness and gallery viewing
2) Being able to focus at a nearer distance without using 'Macro' mode
3) EVF less lag during night usage
4) Q button for quick setting changes

For me, I would say these are the improvement of X100s. My frav improvement would be no2 when taking photos of friends

Bought mine not from TK but Parisilk. The free case also x100.

Shouldn't matter, different interface but same protocol. Just use an adapter like others too.
