Heard from a bro that he bought his set in BKK for $1250!

Yes, you can get it around 1.3k, it's just about stock availability.
Far far away said:Well for those who have not got a X100, can consider going to Bangkok to get it. Trouble is whether they will have any troubles with the military after the election though. =/

they don't cost more than $1,500. Parisilk for example sells the X100 at $1,4xx (after GST)... what is xx depends only on your bargaining skills and who you talk to at the shop. (Hint: talk to the shop manager Kevin).
I was there this afternoon and he told me that 10 units just arrived today.

Why bother to buy from other countries without local warranty and not sure of availability when the local street prices are not much more especially after taking into account the local free gifts like premium hard case and 16G SDHC card ? :dunno:
Stocks of X100 are now more readily available unlike the early days and they don't cost more than $1,500. Parisilk for example sells the X100 at $1,4xx (after GST)... what is xx depends only on your bargaining skills and who you talk to at the shop. (Hint: talk to the shop manager Kevin).

It's only 1 day... can't be sold out so fast. They have long ago cleared their waiting list. Seems that Fuji Singapore had been giving them priority in restocking the X100. What is now on waiting list is the premium hard case though as Fuji can't seem to bring in enough to match the no. of X100s sold. :dunno:I guess by now should be sold out as they have a long waiting list as well?

As for the premium hard case, i think can get those zhou casings or equivalent from ebay...sorry if I have poured cold water.
I saw the X100 at many shops at Funan too last week. Then again not all are willing to sell at Parisilk prices. Is the demand for the X100 still so high? Last week I went to Funan to browse around and saw almost every shop have 2 or 3 sets displayed. Kevin has quite a few set when I went on Wednesday.
I never wanted the premium case at all. Found the workmanship quite coarse and wife didn't like it hence I started to look for alternatives. Loved the Luigi case but it was too expensive! After looking around found the Zhou case to be both good and at a good price and hence bought the Zhou case. My wife loved it now.

I don't mind the premium hard case bundled with the camera. It's just protection for the camera against scratches and knocks. I haven't collected mine from Kevin yet but bought a similar one in black on eBay quite cheaply for daily use. I prefer it in black anyway.
Does Parisilk sell it with the leather case?
Use this on your premium leather and smell away....That's true. Not many are willing to sell at Parisilk prices.
True the free case from Fuji is adequate enough. However the colour is quite boring lah that's why my wife wanted a new one. Also no leather smell. Haha... I like the smell of leather.![]()
