yes! i read that EF-20 is a rebadged sunpack flash. but i can't find any of such flash on ebay. :(

I thot there was an EF42 which i purchased for a friend before. that has TTL too.. as to third party flashes with TTL for fuji, i don't think i've seen any so far :/

Any reco for macro lens?
There is only Fuji xf60mm available that auto focus, good for flower, butterfly and portrait. If you want further magnification you may need to get extension tube or close up filter. Alternatively you may use third party lens with adapter or cheapest way is to get a reverse ring to work with your existing lens. Both Manual focus but quite fast and accurate with the help of focus peaking.

someone already posted earlier - the current xmas promo for the XE-1 with kit lens is going for ard $1.2k in the shops, plus some freebies given by fujifilm. IMO, you are actually better off buying from the shops cos the prices in buy/sell are close to new prices.

... because they bought XE1 around 1800 to 1900 a year plus ago. Wait for X200 and XPro2, same ending will happen, new bodies with faster speed and better sensor will cause old bodies to lose value

But I think hard to find buyers if prices are too high.

I am also deciding to buy from local shops a XE-1 w 18-55mm and 55-200mm zoom. Anyone know the market price for 55-200mm here?

It seems that Fujifilm cameras and lenses have very high resale values compared to Canon and Nikon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Fujifilm system owners are generally happy due to customer - centricity of Fuji & will only sell them if it fetch a good value that it so deserves.

I am not sure what you are talking about.

Frankly, the resale price of the XE1 is bad mainly because Fuji have very good promo for the XE1 and XM1. Because of that the Xpro1 resale price is probably not too good either.

But I am not complaining about it as the extremely competitive pricing for the XE1 and XM1 made more people buy the X-series cameras. easier to b&s fuji lens.

I been following their moves for the past years since i sold my x100 ..i m impressed by the way they upgrade the firmwares for older models even newer ones are out.

Bro, have you seen the buy and sell prices of Fujifilm cameras and lenses? Some are even more than the brand new prices. That's why I said that the resale values of Fujifilm products are very high.

Not sure if anyone biting on these offers. If yes, they should have really done the due diligence to research on latest shop prices

I am not sure whether the buyers will call the shops for the latest quotes.

Anyway, Fujifilm X-M1 kit is selling at $849 with GST plus all the freebies given in current promotion. Very good deal for those who are intending to buy. No need to buy second hand at all as the freebies worth more than $100.

looking to buy a xe1 for my wife~~~~ will make a trip to Funan later to ask around..
