where u took the last 2 pics? nice sia.

all photo took at Malaysia.
actually upper one is paddy field and another one is private lake which i fishing at there :-)

was reading through the entries and am not sure if this is the right place to ask this:
FZ18 vs S5700
Which is a better choice... in terms of performance in low light.

2700mah are those that cannot last very long period (like 1 year), but is very useful when for example, providing sufficient power for the external flash on DSLR cos more power.

2000mah are those that can last long and w/o losing alot of power (i.e. Sanyo Eneloop, GP Recyko).

for normal shooting purpose, 2000mah is more than enough to last. unless u use flash for most of the time. if u really use alot of flash for ur fotos, of course the more mAh the better.

thks for the complement. :) but that also means i am a no life person on the Internet. :(

The 2000mah that was given to me gobe dead in less then an hour ne, without using flash, but zoom and lcd.

I was thinking of buying the energizer 2500mah rechargable. I used the Sanyo 2300 and it got quite a good life span.

by right, Fujifilm shld have the advantage over Panasonic in terms of low light performance. but since S5700 has no SuperCCD, so S5700 & FZ18 shld be quite similar in terms of low light performance. The only slight advantage that FZ18 has when it comes to low lighting shooting is its Mega O.I.S. as it helps to counter any shakes sufferd due to long exposures for low light shooting.

i suppose the 2000mah batteries u mentioned are the alkaline type. the Sanyo Eneloop or GP Recyko ones that are 2000mah rechargeables shld be better. i own a energizer 2500mah, but they dun seems to be good leh (maybe i have recharged it too many times). if u want high power, stick with Sanyo 2700mah (dun buy 2500mah, heard that they are no good) or perhaps the GP ones (i personally haven't try their high power ones b4).

actually M'sia got a lot of beautiful place....may be people need to slow down their step and enjoy all the beutiful things :-)
that paddy field locate at Kedah but must go by the right time....hehe

here i want to share another photos which is capture during travel to Vietnam, Hanoi..:)

Hehe^^

This pic is taken at the alley outside marina square. Its night time and only lighted with the orange spotlights. Taken from one floor above. Psed to adjust the brightness abit, cos quite dull in original pic

dun like the bride photo because of the chop-off head with eyes...so distracting

the other one, with the horizon slanted.

haha I like the bride pic for its softness and its suits the mood, very sweet and kind of memorable

but yah should have crop off the head below.....the guy's expression very funny hahaha ^o^
