I don't think its a trigger voltage.
Its more of a short to ground.
erm, i don't understand. Can explain?

You're the genius! $833.53 to be exact!$833.00 with GST is it
cos someone before in this thread brought at that price;p
use higher ISO. dun worry abt noise on the S100FS below ISO 400 to 800.
Seems that the IS on this cam not very useful.:thumbsd:
Does anyone had this problem?
I also like to use Aperature Priority, ISO100 & without flash to take photos.
But most of them came out a bit blur, especially during in-door or night time.
Anyone got solution to this?![]()
Compared with my previous Canon P&S, the difference made by the IS is not as big, with the Canon it was pretty obvious. Whether this speaks poorly of the Fuji's IS or the Canon's default stability is open to debate. Anyway, there is still a difference. Here's an example, shot at 400mm, ISO400, 1/26s, 100% crop.

The IS is clearly doing its job, though with more subtlety than some other systems. Also, I've found it useful to keep the IS mode at continous, rather than shoot only. You will notice the difference when composing your shot.
Just like as you, I like to shoot at min ISO without flash. But I've found that the S100FS performs almost perfectly up to ISO400, so I'd rather push up the ISO and risk a little grain than have a blurry shot.
Anyone try this camera with Nikon TTL SB600/800 flash? does it work?;p
can members recommend me a dedicated flash for the camera. thanks.
