This is a thread calling for F50fd photos that are unedited, yet to touch-up and straight from the camera.

Please include some exif info such as...
1). Aperture
2). Shutter Speed
3). ISO
4). Flash/Tripod
5). title of photo.

Please do not post photos that are larger than 600X450. these photos are meant for helping potential buyers to determine whether the camera is worth the $$.

Thank You!!

haven't had time to post photos but managed to find a link from dpreview, this guy comparing the f30 fd to the f50 fd. Hope it will benefit people contemplating to buy this camera.

looks clean at ISO800 when downsized.

at the same resolution (1424 x 1068), F50 looks cleaner and more detailed than F30.

does the camera haf spot metering?

if so, maybe u can focus on the light source and meter from it.

spot metering...as in center weighted? then try to focus on the candle?

hmmm spot metering takes only a specific small area, which is much like a 'spot'? haha

something like tat. if u use this metering mode on the candle, u won't over-expose it that much but then, ur overall foto might be more dull and dark as u're taking reading only from the lightsource..

i think fujifilm f50fd do not haf spot metering.

hmm they put under photometry: multi, spot and average. I think I have taken using spot before, no problems getting a nice flame, but like you said, the overall photo becomes dull, then can't see the star and moon.

:) ya, but with careful usage, u might find some uses for it!

haf fun!!
