I'm also interested in this camera, but will wait to pull the trigger (shall wait for initial reviews and confirmation of IQ and high ISO performance).

No concrete plan is currently in place to produce a black model, but Fujifilm are aware that a large number of people have requested this option.

The idea of this unique camera is to be a niche product designed with a retro look. it would defeat the purpose to ask for an all black version. Its like asking for Apple Iphone to have many colours. But then again, it marketing identifies a big enough market to make the effort, i am sure they will go for it.

I got to play with an X100 at the CP+ expo in Yokohama today. The finder is waaaaaaaaay cool, especially the optical finder which is very clear and comfortable to use. I wasn't really thinking of buying one before, but am now...;p
Here's a few pics comparing the size of the X100 with my Nikon SP. The SP is marginally larger, but at nearly 800 grams is a lot heavier.

I was at Funan visiting one of my regular shop was told stock has already reached Fuji Singapore.
