what i heard from overseas forums this will cost around US$1k.. available in black color as well.. really looking forward to the announcement date.. i am pondering now between this or pentax K-5.. hhmmm, which one should i save up for?

This is one camera that is really making people stand up and listen.. Specs look really really good.. if only it allowed interchangeable lenses.. that would be perfect

I second you.. interchangeable lens would "kill" others though.. but, i think i can live with fixed lens, although i do hope that fuji would release it in several models with different f-length.. not that i wanna buy several of this, but at least like the older RF, we can choose which version (i.e. which focal length we go with)..

abit too ex lar 1k euro... 1 k SGD i may buy:D

Is X100 a fixed lens camera?

My guess would be around $1599 region, anything more would really hurt the sales.

They left out the Film advance lever! That'll complete the look! Haha.

not just the look but the workflow too... just like the RD1!

$1599 is too high, bro. I definitely won't pay that kind of price for a one trick pony unless it is a f/1.4 ;)

PROVIA, Velvia, ASTIA and mono chrome effects are available

Till this date, sensors and camera lenses are not perfect, so, we need more than one lens.

i am excited! but the pricing sounds

this filter and the built in nd filter are very innovative, kudos to fuji!

Fujifilm Singapore, if you're listening...

RRP 1499 but do allow a healthy profit for resellers to let go at 1200 la...

Imagining coupled this with a raynox n external flash...hmmmm

It has outstanding lens with 9 blades and built in ND Filter , cool ... ;-)

I really like it being a 1 lens and it's got the focal length I really like as well.

I am using Pentax and love all their primes, especially the FA 31 Limited and the 77mm Limited. But I long for a 23 or 24mm low light lens that'll make it a 35mm. So this X100 hits the sweet spot for me.

I believe Fuji's aware that they may not be able to replace any of those systems out there (Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Ricoh, Sony, Sigma, in alphabetical order, just to name a few), so why not introduce something that the DSLR owners may add into their arsenal of lenses and bodies.

Love the color filters, and the ND Filter is an icing on the cake.

I hope they'll just include the adapter for filters, and not an accessory that we'll need to buy.
