Fuji X10, so pretty!

I already have the X100.
If, you've the X100. Will you buy the X10?
Or, waiting till next year for the Fuji new retro look interchangeable lens camera?

For that matter, if you have X100, it is better not to have X10 because
1. X100 are superior in the sense of the hybrid viewfinder technology
2. X100 is using APS-C sensor which is much bigger than X10 which is 2/3" sensor. It means it can have lower noise picture than X10 on the higher ISO. (another superior point)
3. Both camera are also almost the same catergory like we call them "rangefinder" or "compact size super image" camera
4. As of XS-1(interchangable lens camera) also not advisable because is also using 2/3" sensor which I think not superior than X100. (I'm still skeptical on sensor size dispite the EXR technology can handle)

As why I chose X10 now is because that when X100 came out, the price and fixed focal lens scare me off despite the superiority to all compacts and even Hybrid camera out in the market. Now X10, is a very good choice in my cart for a compact camera vs all the bigger sensor compact fast aperture camera like Panasonic LX 5, Olympus XZ-1 and even Canon S100. And of course to replace my compact Fujifilm Z100..... hahahaha

footnote: always a fujifilm fan, from F450, Z3, Z100 and my favourite S6500fd(even it is non HD and 2006 video technology, I still love the video quality then due to the sensor size) before I switch to DSLR.

Courts wrongly promo it as "Interchangeable Lens"!!?:o

Any idea when this'll be coming out in SG?

A nice comparison I found in a flickr discussion group:

s95_vs_x10

X10 has impressive DOF but tends to be yellowish

$1,299... Siao...

Even if $999, Olympus XZ-1 is going to be much more attractive in comparison, like it or not. Just on price alone. Naturally this looks better, but I'm not really sure if it's worth the additional premium!

the only thing i like about fuji is their very good sensor, which can record high DR range.. but even $999 is too ex for me.. and the downside is the 85% vf...

think i better dun spend this $ lah..

Is it true that Fujifilm sensors (other than the old S2/S3/S5pro series) do have better DR? I have not heard that the DR is very much better than other brands, other than the sensor used in the discarded DSLR line.. I admit those were really good for DR. We must have an apple to apple comparison - if you are say, pitting X100 against compact cameras, then naturally a larger sensor tends to have better DR..

i think it is the EXR technology, if i am not wrong, the x100 does not have it, perhaps it is too costly to build for APC-S size.

Introducing the X10 | FUJIFILM X10 show the DR mode,

this technology should be built upon the old one u mentioned..

edit:

paiseh x100 has it too

The sensor on XZ-1 is much smaller than X100, that's why the price is more sensible ;)
Specs-wise XZ-1 is the best so far for compact but IQ wise LX5 seems to be better.

Singapore have already.Sprintcass inside changi airport have display already but no price yet.

Humm....what is so attractive about X10? If I have to choose between the X10 and X100 again? X100 will still be the choice. The sensor and the lens are the most important. The rest of the features are secondary.

Yeah, I agree. Whether it is viewfinder, looks, sensor size or DOF, X100 beats X10 hands down. With the pricing so high, if I need the zoom, I would rather get LX5.

Don't count out S100
