A shop quote me $159 for a Carl zeiss uv filter.. I was.. Speechless
ZoomZ said:Standard retail price for Carl Zeiss filter is very expensive, about double of the price of Fuji Filter.
You can get the Carl Zeiss filter cheaper from SLR Revo, at around $80+. As for the Fuji 52mm filter, it is also very well made and it is around $80 as well.
Anyone want to know where else to get anything, come to me... more poisons available!
Chiif expensive, B+W filters get from our Mass Order sub forum cheaper![]()
Which shop to get d Fuji filter? Tks.
Fuji filter can get from both SLR Revo and MSColor.
Try SLR Revo first as they are better priced. MSColor must bargain hard for any accessories. Only some of their cameras is cheaper (especially Fuji), but not the accessories.
ZoomZ said:Yes, for B+W filter, especially the MRC nano which is better for cleaning, you can get it for $50 from our wonderful mass order thread. His shop is at Fulushou.
I like it too, but the paint tend to drop off faster than the Carl Zeiss one. B+W is matt black, and Carl Zeiss and Fuji ones are the same colour as Fuji's lens as it is a shiny black.
yeah i did notice that MSColor DSLR price is very good but thier accesories its like SRP price :-(. I'll check with them how much is X-E1 today drop by courts but they dont have X-E1 display :-( only molested X10 and X100
D thing is I PM d mass order guy. No response. Tatz y. I wanna get d KSM CPL too.

If you want to get from the guy with his store at Fu-Lu-Shou, you can just walk in to the shop. I think it is his family shop (fengshui shop) and the filters are all kept and not displayed. Just tell the auntie that you want some fengshui advice..... oops... I mean some B+W filters.
You need to know the exact model and price indicated in his sales thread though, as the auntie is clueless and just take the correct one from drawers....
May I know which floor is it? Tks. Will check it out this weekend.
His shop address is indicated in the sales thread:
Ways to Get:
1) Cash and Collect
Location:Treasure Cove, Fu Lu Shou Complex, #02-24
Opening Hours: 12pm to 7pm (Sunday: 2pm to 7pm)
(*The shop is not a camera shop.)
Saturday shopping spree? Haha...
Check out Artworkfoto as well for nice Gariz Metal soft release, or Tim Isaac ones. Then walk across to SLR Revo to get handgrip and leather case. Then walk to K13 to get A&A silk straps...
STOP POISONING PPL!!!

that's his part time job. :bsmilie:
wonder how many ppl tio poison by him.
Just sold my hawk helicoid adapter. Got bullet to buy filters first. Haha. Sell my cron then can BBB. Soft buttons around how much ar?
The best looking one with very solid built metal and similar textile will be the Gariz Gold or Gun Metal soft release buttons. Only Artworkfoto bring in the Gold colour one, and cost around $70. You can order the gun metal colour one from ebay.
I bought 1 previously but sold off as I am using full casing and thus it presses on the button often, with once that I forgot to switch off and the camera battery totally flat since it is constantly "On' as the button was pressed and it does not go into "sleep" mode if you forget to switch off. I was also worried that this will cause problem if I constantly pressed on the button via the full casing.
So I am back to the nice small soft button, flushed nicely to the button with no gaps at all. This one can get from Decameraconsultant. Very nice uncle who specializes on rangefinder and repairs.
Not sure about your style and preference. I prefer everything same colour. My X-E1 is black. All other accessories are black. Same type of black and same texture/style if possible.
If you like bright red, gold, big buttons, there are more choices!
Yeah... gotta get some bling bling... Will check out Gariz Gold... Actually, m quite lazy to drive around, maybe just get my B+W filter at Funan once and for all... Maybe get d B+W KSM CPL at FuLuShou shop later... I dun even haf a screen protector for my LCD screen yet, any good ones to recommend that is scratch resistant and sticks well to it? Thanks... Best if can find in Funan and a price range too..
