All X-E1 already preloaded with the latest firmware out of the box, but XF lens firmware might not be the latest as the lens might be older batch.
Does it come in it's own box?

My X-E1 and X-Pro1 both are similar with the body+accessories in 1 box and the lens in another box.
Think this is how Fuji packaged it, a little different from my previous camera Sony Nex 7 with kit lens which is all in the same box.
Actually does it matter? LOL... U will throw the boxes one side after awhile.. bro ZoomZ... how much is the EP-7S in SG? Thanks.

:bsmilie: you are hoarding accessories!
Dunno if anyone had posted this before, exciting new lens lineup from Zeiss in early 2013..

M interested wif the 12mm f/2.8 with AF, prices will hover above Euro 1K, meaning we can look at around 1.5K SGD and above after all d conversion plus extras for dunno what...
Dunno how this will compare wif the XF 12mm??
The Zeiss 12mm f/2.8 is on my radar too :bsmilie: Fuji does not have XF12 in their lens lineup... widest prime is XF14, widest zoom XF10-22.
Time to save up on getting the 12mm Zeiss then.... LOL
Hi Buddy,
You are buying again??!!! Haha..... BBB virus!
Tim's soft release you can find alot of design at Chiif's store. I have a nice chrome one for my M9P. In fact the Gariz Gold button fits very nicely for Fuji X. You can find it at Artworkfoto - $70 each!
But for X-E1, I find a smaller one suit it better, especially that I am using casing to cover the whole body and with the bigger button, the soft case tend to press on the button and worried it will cause premature wear and tear to the button.

I'm not a Fuji user can any kind soul provide me the pros and cons between X-E1 and Xpro1? I am reading some reviews but would like to get some insight from users 1st hand
thanks in advanced!
X-E1:
+ small size
+ built-in flash
+ decent EVF
+ USB remote
+ almost have the price of x-pro1
- lower resolution rear LCD
- no PC-sync port
- no optical viewfinder
For x-pro1 just change all the + to - and vice versa
Chiif has Tim's button? Awesome, looking for the Red Dragon Beep & Boop ones... Ordered one more from Talek or something like tat... forgotten d name... dunno if it's too big for d X-E1 or not, will it obstruct the speed dial?
