CZ 12mm looks big and likely to block the OVF much more than the fujinon's 14mm. also, i wonder how much better it can delivery in terms of IQ since the fujinon lens are already excellently built apart from the 2mm difference.

Well... just prefer Zeiss for this focal length... D XF 35mm is a great lens, d reviews for the 18mm is so so... just dun think d 14mm can be as great as the 35mm. Might as well, go for the Zeiss 12mm.. Personal view...

Even if it does not block the OVF you still won't be able to use the OVF with an UWA because the OVF won't be able to cover such wide focal length.

Im torn between getting the xe-1 and the d600. I know they are both VERY different cameras. Anyone experienced a similar dilemna? Can i know what pushed you towards the x-e1?

To me x-e1 wins in terms of form and weight but loses in terms of AF and variety of lenses (altho i tried the 35mm and phew!!!)

Anything else? Thanks in advance for your insights!

pretty easy to decide. If you don't mind the weight of the D600 + lenses just go ahead with the D600... no point settling for the X-E1. Put weight and size aside, any recent FF DSLRs will outperform the X-E1.

using a nikon d300s now with most nikkor fx lenses. had thought either to get a compact mirror less to compliment my d300 , or fx dslr.

nonetheless come to conclusion, to hold on, see theres will be a mirror less ff, since i had no hurries, still love my nikon

Bought two sets, wonder if you can get this price. Purchased at Tin Cheung camera sim city area. By that time kit lens should be available. The 18mm also very reasonable at 3600hkd

thats a great price man. any word on the warranty? My parents are flying to HK tomorrow and im so tempted to ask them to tabao back for me. I'm just weighing if its worth the risk of either saving 300 dollars or get a "WAH SO EXPENSIVE HAR YOUR TOYS?!" in my ears.

Warranty no issue. International for Fuji. Bought mine from HK 3 weeks bk n warranty is covered.

Haha. Make sure it's not grey set tat only carries d shop warranty k. Remember to check properly. Must haf stamped warranty card n official receipt.
