How come no LCD screen protector ah?

oh yah, got got! oOps..forgot..haha! comes with 4x AA energiser batt also..LoL! :D

hmm..the screen protector is too small, looks weird after i pasted it on the screen.. :dunno:

Probably it needs sufficient light and contrast before the face detection lock-on works well and the light condition inside most shops isn't sufficient for the camera to do so? :dunno:

i think shop lighting provides an excellent field test.. hehehe... if it can't work there, then perhaps don't buy. anyway, even if fd doesn't work properly, it shouldn't matter so long as the output is good.. no pt having an excellent fd tracking device but yield poor results.

i agree, Sonee H5 is the best camera there is, it thrashes all other cameras especially the pooji 6500fd...

do your slamming and get over it already.

har... this called slamming.. what's wrong with putting the set through a test in the shop premise? U mean if a camera can't take a decent shot in the shop premise u should still buy it? PMS uh you? I guess the good thing is that you'd definitely get over it... ;)

i meant stop popping up every now to remind everyone of your indoor phototaking skills:sweatsm:

u actually tried to take shots at tele-end without any support while u were at the shop and then u claim the camera is lousy??? methinks the AP person crushed the 'evidence' because the camera made u look bad.(and u made the camera look bad as well)

Clockunder already explain why ur pics turned out crappy.

http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?p=2513880#post2513880

and when tomcat posted 6500fd vs h5 comparison, u actually want to believe the reviewer forgot the IS??

and u followed up with pics u sourced to demonstrate why u prefer h5 to 6500fd? come on, u comparing 6500fd (@iso800) vs h5(@iso320) as pointed out by Zaknafein

http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?p=2511827#post2511827

and then u go on to tell chi_noy u still have the fz20 (in the middle of a 6500fd thread, how ott can u get?) and ask him to "max zoom" indoors?

http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?p=2512546#post2512546

FYI: it is pretty obvious ur persistent potshots came only after u bought the h5?

If u do not enjoy me telling u off abt your snipes, then stop suggesting why no one bought the 6500fd, no pt having fd but yield poor results...we already know u love ur sonee h5 more than poojee 6500fd but we also know the number of h5 users (let's just say it is a niche market)

pardon me for asking a query on S6500fd...
looks like the 'picture stabliszation' function is quite redundant when compared to panasonic's 'Optical Image Stabiliser' and canon's 'Image Stabiliser'?
am i right? can someone explain?

You cant compare with OIS of pana and IS of canon becoz its 2 different things altogether.
PS of fuji uses software, OIS and IS uses hardware.

To have OIS and IS is a bonus. 2 counteract handshake, jack up ISO which will allow u to jack up shutter speed which will eliminate handshake. But of coz if the image taken is not compromised, go ahead to push the ISO up.

OIS and IS will benefit users greatly when using the video mode of the camera.

There was once, an old wise man who told me that " opinions are like buttholes, everyone's got one" ... I for one would like to keep mine to myself if its a good one... = )

Haha ya i fully agreed with u on this.. U can see from my signature..:bsmilie:

How is the shot to shot and continuous drive performance? Still sluggish like S9500 & F30?

anyone knows the latest pricing of the S6500FD? interested in getting this camera, seems like a good camera to start learning more about photography.

Was wondering if it is possible to use a tele-converter with this camera? I'm just startin out and know very little about the equipments :embrass:

I think Picture details will suffer tremendously when you use a tele-converter on a prosumer zoom camera. So I don't think it's a good idea to spend money on a teleconverter on this cam.

Face detection at work... at ISO 800 ;)

Such sharp and clear portraits should preferably be shown with a super pretty girl face in it.

Any camera can take panoramic pictures.

All you need is to take a number of overlapping shots with the same focal length, same aperture and same ISO at the same place under the same light condition and then stitch them together in software. (Sounds simpler than it actually is).
