itanium, I think MS Color doesn't have the oem adaptor. You could call them to ask (try to speak to Mr Loh or Florence).

Also, ask for free LCD screen protectors ;p You would also need to get a lens cap if you intend to leave the adaptor with V filter on all the time.

As for the CF, test it in video mode to see if it works. Slower ones like SanDisk might not be able to capture any video! I'm using a RiDatat 20x 256MB which is quite alright (105s of video).
how much u bought the CF? was thiking of getting a 256MB CF but i afraid that the video will not work. Thus choosing the sm/cf combo... if that works perfectly,i may buy 256mb instead..
does fuji sells the adapter seperately?

Off topic, but looking at the number of views for this thread, I won't be surprised if it hit 10,000 very soon!!

And by the way, those who bought the S602Z, hope you can enlighten us about your opinion of this camera.

Enjoy! :)

I got it for $195 at AP. should be cheaper now. It doesn't work perfectly but I don't mind.

don't thin Fujfilm sells the adaptor separately. Maybe you could find someone who only wanted the lens but not the adaptor?

ok MS quoted me $10 for the adapter...

sandisk 256MB CF @ $200 (ouch! i think will get from AP)
1 lady previously quoted me 1440 for the cam!(but later a guy spoke to me and corrected it)

looks like i gotta buy the cam from MS with filter and adapter and get the rest from AP...

wow!!! adaptor is half the price of AP's ($20)!!! you could get the lens cap there too.

yup, don't get the Sandisk even if it's cheaper.

maybe they thought it's a step-up or step-down ring ;p For step-up/down rings, Foto Guide is cheaper ($6).

why not you consider IBM MD then , larger capacity? like 1Gig only $390 .. no problem with recording video also

It's only a good deal if you want to buy the printer. Otherwise,
the free stuff is worth like $210 total only. Might as well buy from AP or MSColor.

$90->128MB CF (Fuji)
$2-> Cap ( not lens cap, k? :) )
$0 (given elsewhere too)-> Leather Case
$30-> Charger (no other info given)
$20-> Flash (accordingly, worth $40. No other info given)
$10-> Dry Box
$60-> $60 worth of E-Pic Print Voucher
$0 (maybe useful for beginners)-> Digital Camera Training Course

btw, can i just screw the 55mm uv filter to the lens? i have the 55-52 adapter, whats the diff between using the 55-55 and 55-52?

No!!!! u should've gotten the 52mm UV filter. cos the UV lens is fitted to the 52mm side.

mine's the fujifilm 55-55mm adaptor, that's why I got the 55mm UV lens.

Have you seen the offer / freebies personally? Quite amused to see you quoting prices when I'm pretty much sure that you haven't seen it.

I'm saying this coz I just got a confirmation from my brother that the dry box -- to which you quoted absurdly as valued at $10 -- is that of the cabinet (metal) type... similar to what I bought from Carrefour at $99.

MS Color sells it at $1260 right? So let's do a quick summation:

$1260 (cam) + $90 (CF) + $80 (Dry Box, lesser than that of Carrefour's) + $60 (Voucher) + $20 (Flash @ your price) + $ 30 (Charger @ your price) + $2 (cap @ your price) = $1,542

$1,542... hmm.. that's higher than the $1499 on offer right? Oh yes, we haven't even taken into consideration the cost of the digital camera training course and the money you save should you decide to get the printer.

Overall, I still think that it *IS* a very good deal. :)

Oh... I forgot to say.. my brother just got it from PC Show. :D That makes me a co-owner of a S602Z :D
