I'm on holiday for 3 weeks in singapore visiting my gf :) First week i realy got fed up with my Mju410, blur, underlighted etc etc. So after lotsa searching i found this forum about the S5600 and the reference to MS Color.

After mailing them, i got a reply of 590sgd including 215mb XD-card, tripod, case and a fancy Fuji travelbag. So went over to the shop, great service and very nice personel, realy good shop to get a cam from  Did a few testshots and let it all been wrapped up. They even gave me the GSD-refund declaration, still a 18 extra dollars off :)

Now a few days later and CNY just done, i'm realy loving this cam. Did some great shots at the fireworks, even recorded a nice movie of it. Darkness and daylight, great pictures as long you can hold you hands still a bit (gotta learn that part still :P). Unfortunatly the manual zoom is kinda hard to learn, or just not that great. All other features are pretty cool, realy alot of manual settings.

So thx for the info, another happy S5600 owner.

guys there seem to be a problem with my cam screen. one blue line in the center. do i have to fill in the warrenty card? tried the e-warrenty thing but says that cam is either registered or invalid.

Happy Chinese New Year to all :)
This new year gave me the chance to finally utilitze the video recording mode of the S5600. I'm impressed with the high resolution mode! Recorded many clips here and there, even of fire crackers. Displayed it on the big screen TV using the supplied cable, looks damn good! nice nice! ;p

malaysia also banned firecrackers ma... but yes, visiting some frens there, and they somehow got their hands on some crackers, so blast off liao lar. :bsmilie: hmm, i wonder if the movie files 640x460 can be compressed any smaller. coz the file sizes are huge!

The movies are indeed pretty bigsized. I resided them into normal Pal-format with a border and (s)vcd quality. Looks pretty ok on a television and is pretty much smaller (the avi nearly looks a uncompressed format).

Now back in holland already, time to finetune a bunch of pictures :)
