Hi, I'm new to Instax but getting one mini 25 for my wife that she wish. Color wise not sure is it worth to pay extra for just a few color different on it. I came across this online seller they also have a shop in SG. They do sell Instax at cheaper price and comparable with other online seller. And they do repair/services for Instax camera too. They have extended 14 days warranty for every camera you bought from them and you can have addition 1 or 2 years warranty for addition cost. I'm wondering is it a worth to get the addition 1 or 2 years warranty? Please advise.

mini 25 cost abt 100-200 range , if need to pay additional $50 for warranty. I rather keep the $$ to buy a new model when your camera spoil. Unless it $10-20 maybe u can consider.
The camera usually don't spoilt so easily, so far I use instax 7S and Instax 25 X2 set....all the 3 camera already 3-4 years still working well.

The above has been discussion many time, pls search the old thread. In short, the size is smaller but more expensive , diff in design with additional feature like self-timer ..etc......not much diff

your cam got problem? mine happen once due to low battery. Change new battery then ok already.

Hi, I just bought a Mini 25 but when I powered it on, there is a weird whirring sound for about 5-6 secs then the lens 'come out'. There is also an " - " sign blinking. Bottom line - I can't take picture. Please help!

when switch on, the len come out with the mechanical sound. that normal. When u taken the 1st shot, a black plastic protective sheet will come out then it will show 10.

"-" sign is empty........ or film did not load properly......u go read the user manual. I don hve on hand now, so cant check whether it is documented inside the user manual. Since u just bought it, you should contact the seller for replacement. Change a new battery and try....

i would suggest getting from passiongadget. It is kinda cheap.
I am a user of 2 Instax mini 25 and pretty happy with it.
Market price should be around SGD130.
They have pretty good servicing for your polaroid and films are cheaper as well

Mine ever low batt and can't turn on. Haven't tried new batt, but supposedly, this batt in my cam is quite new.

Maybe the batt got problem..

ok. noob question here. I do not know what to get... Mini 25 or Mini 50s.

yes, I read the thread starter's comments. only difference is the self timer and consecutive shot for Mini 50s, while Mini 25 can do self pic.

Reason to buy Mini 25 - self snap mirror...
Reason to buy Mini 50 - none actually, unless end result film quality is better than Mini 25.

I checked the specs, both seem to have almost same spec except Mini 50s take better photos at low light area but my concern is the continuous shot... I dont want to use this.

seems like leaning toward Mini 25...

Hee! been wanting a polariod for a long time... just did not have the "guts" to own it. because I was worried that my pictures were ruin.

I had actually contemplated on getting the beginner's set of Diana F camera (deluxe kit) with all the accessories some 3 years ago in Seoul because they had a Lomo shop and the set was on promotion. and I saw the Instax 50 last year, also in Seoul...and it's been haunting me... so

Finally, I bought the Instax 50. so just decided to have fun with it. bought 10 boxes of the films. I just took a picture of myself with the Instax 50, it looks a bit weird looking at myself in a bad lighting photo but it is a "real" feel. It sort of captures the moment. Now I know why the polariod captures the moment.

Unless I get a good bargain for a lomo camera then maybe I will buy it... but for the time being... my Instax is the best! I may even get the 210... *evil grin

I agree that the lomo cameras can be quite pricey...but niwae....

Just attended a wedding and saw a photographer going around with instax. Although the photo may not be as good as dslr, the joy and fun is instant.

Going to get one soon to bring smile on people face.

How long can i leave the films inside my mini25 after they are inserted into the cam? will leaving the films in there for too long spoil the cam??
