Fuji Film Instax Camera Singapore Fans Club, Season Two

Hello! I'm new here :D

Just got my instax mini 25 today! Ordered from instax.com.sg and looking forward to capturing many pictures with it. Kinda worried about finding the battery though, I've never noticed batteries of this size before! Hahaha!

The battery will only go flat after 20 pack of film = 200 photo......so it a long way to go..........I just change battery after 2 yrs.

have been looking ard online and there are so many prices for 25s. can someone recommend a shop/blogshop that sell reasonable price and the films for it?

There are a couple of blogshops that is around in the market. I personally bought films from Gmarket but the response is very slow. The mailing is even slower. Your best bet is local blogshops which sells both cameras and films at a cheap price and ready stock. Polaroid cameras don't spoilt easily, if buying from blogshop ask for 1month shop warranty. If the bugger really spoilt after one month then ask the shop to send back to factory, but but thats only 5% chance of a camera spoilting within the first year. There are online shops offering 2years at additional charges maybe additional of 10% of the selling price.

I am using 7s and 50s. Used for so long, battery changed once for 7s. 50s is for grib and look. PM me for the links to blogshop as I do not want to advertise for others for free here in clubsnap. lol

Hello everyone! :D I'm a fairly new owner of a mini 7S and I really need some help from more experienced users. My camera is less than 2 months old and has been working fine for the first pack but yesterday, when I changed into a new pack, the flash stopped and all my films came out pitch black. I was taking photos at night. However it was the same when I tried again this morning under sufficient light, the flash is still not working so the photos are extremely underexposed, though not pitch black. Can anyone help? :(

Btw I do not have warranty for it as I got the cam overseas from a friend. Thank you so much in advance!

is it battery problem? try take out for half an hour then put back, try without loading film, see the flash work or not.
I assume u know for the 7S u need to set the mode when using indoor and outdoor....as the default is indoor mode which the exposure is in full.

Yep, I have tried shooting with both the indoor and outdoor mode and both didn't give me flash. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought there will be flash for all 4 modes? Alright I will try taking out the batteries, thanks! But I still have half a pack of film left inside, will they still be usable if I take them out now? Thanks a lot :)

Hi just to update, I finished up the remaining films and tried shooting without any film cartridge. Still no flash :( so now only outdoor shots are visible (not completely underexposed) :( could the problem lie with this pack of film? Cos if not, I don't wish to risk wasting another pack of film to test it out... Anywhere I can repair it at the reasonable price? Thank you!

Hi Zyinggg, seems like you have either a faultly camera or a blown flash bulb. For 7S, actually alot of blogshops are selling it within $100 with local warranty. May not be advisable to get it repaired. The service charge and spare part may cost about $40 - $60.
This is just my point of view because 7S is on the lower price range. You may try local retailers for repair options. They should be able to give you the Fuji servicing contact number. I think there is a blogshop that offer repairs for their Instax cameras, but i dun really know if they are able to repair for you. Do a search on google.

Pardon my late response! Thank you for your advice... the idea of getting a brand new one really hurts (my pocket I mean, lol) because I've only shot one pack with it! :( Guess I'll check around for the prices for repair first. Thank you so much :)

anyone know where can I get the leather case for the 7S?

Hi guys, can PM me any blog shop recommendations? Planning to buy 25 ... google got so many shops, dunno which one is good service bad service and also scared get cheated ...

Guys, any ideas if the film will survive a plane trip (i.e. the x-ray)? let's say if i hand-carry the film still in its' aluminium/cardboard box?

Hi, 1st post over here. Brought my 1st mini 50s and had tons of fun with it.

regarding the x-ray issue, nowadays airport they uses film-friendly x-ray machines. so is quite fine to bring your films on board. if you are worried, you can either get those pouch that that lead lining or just inform the guys you have film in your hand carry. they will do a check with the operator or conduct a manual check in your bag. so far been bring my films passing over these x-ray machines, still usable :)

Hi, I want to get a 25 but don't know which online shop have good services and i don't wanna get cheated..

Any recommendations? PM me pls :D Thank you !

One of the SG blogshops are usually cheapest, just take a look around. It hardly spoils.

I'm going to Seoul in a few weeks' time. Planning to get instax wide camera from there? Is it cheaper over there? Where can I get one from Seoul!
TIA!
