The main point is...you can keep your batteries properly and when you need it (esp when you are shooting critical shots), you can just grab the whole pack instead of ransacking for 4 batteries that might be anywhere in ur bag?

Also to prevent an electric shock.. and to keep those drained batts seperate from the unused batts so won't be mixed up.

Hmm.. wonder when stocks will arrive.. next week christmas week very busy.. :(

For me, it is easy to organise my bag... then it also prevent the batt from short-circuit... further, sort of protect the rest of the batt should 1 of 2 leak...

Electric shock? Against..?

From accidentally short-circuiting the batts. there is a risk of short-circuiting loose batts, especially if there are other metalic items like coins and keys around.. I don't wanna get burned accidentally.. :D

You ain't the only one looking forward for it.. my neck is now as long as the giraffe... hehehee...

For AA batteries, the chance of accidentally shortcircuiting it with anything other than something like mercury is as high as striking first prize in every 4D. The 2 terminals are on 2 separate ends!

This is more possible in button cells like LR44 etc, and some Lithium batteries than with the common AAs.

It has happened before (not striking first price in every 4D).. Better be safe than sorry.. :)
