Oh nice shades of black! is that natural hair, or hair extension?

Thanks bro........I think it looks like hair extension to me but it might be also those kind of feather frills thingy stuff.

Hey, where is this? Is this a cabin next to a frozen lake?

Hey, where is this? Is this a cabin next to a frozen lake?

It's a soccer field (not American football) in Queens, NYC that has been freshly covered with snow from previous day downpour.
On the far left you'll noticed a small sitting platform also.
According to the local residents there, that day was not as cold as it should have been and it was already -3'C in the late morning.
In the afternoon it was snowing. By 4.30 pm the sky started to turn dark and there wasn't enough light available to shoot w/o a tripod/flash. By then we were all shivering and can't wait to get out of that place.

This picture was taken just before we left for Manhattan.
The Art Filter pin-hole effect was added to imitate the E30/620 cam since I can't afford both (yet)........hehe :embrass:

Cheers!

Alright,no blues or reds this time, mainly green and grey :bsmilie:
Since Microcosm said i hardly post here, gonna start posting, starting with these 2 pictures, just find the gecko interesting, cause i've always thought they had black eyes, with flash, revealed more than i intially knew, and the snail was taken after the rain with an extension tube i think, can't really remember, but was trying out my ray flash as well:bsmilie: so here are the 2 pics

The details on the gecko is very interesting, especially the eye and the "pad" under the nails/claws. Thanks for sharing this... very interesting shot.

i totally agree, first time i really see a gecko in detail, think this guy was slping or something, usually they will run away before I even get to focus, this one justs hangs there not moving at all
