In 35mm = 14-28mm zoom!!! ULTRA wide!.......very tempting. ;p

I am selling all my Nikon DSLR stuff to fund for my new toy......GF1 with 20mm f1.7 & 14-45 & 7-4mm f4. ;p

Got sick of bulky DLSR specially when I travel to 'ulu' country. :sweatsm:

BTW I did a comparison of the bokeh with a similar lens, my lovely Sigma 30/1.4.

wat do you want to sell? PM pls.

I use my camera when I travel & I think GF1 weight & size will make travelling more convenience. ;)

Which Nikon are you using? I suggest you don't sell first... I had a GF1 for a day, was also really tempted by the weight... but I can tell you it's a good compliment for my D300, but not a replacement.

I am thinking the same thing when buying my E-P1. I never looked back or regretted selling all my nikon stuff. I used it for travel too.

But in my opinion, current m4/3 sensor could not produce what similar priced dSLR can produced (like d5000 for example). Nonetheless, the image quality from m4/3 is already very gd for most purposes. If you do not scrutinise, even ISO1600 is usable. There are, shortcomings of this system of coz, its just a matter if those things really matter to you.

It's a compromise i guess. Small and portability vs control and image quality. As long as you know what you want, which i think you are, i don't think you'll go wrong.

;) welcome to m4/3

I think that may be hard to distinguish if d5000 is what you compare with. I believe current m43 can produce image indistinguishable to d5000. Sensor size is very close, 1.5x vs 2x. Against D700/D3/5D2/7D/1D, no chance.

i can see difference, at least for me. of coz you can have your fair share of opinion.
