I was originally waiting for the GF1 with great anticipation as well. But after the price announcement, with a price tag equal or higher then an entry level DSLR, couple with limited choice of m43 lenses, I can't say I'm as enthusiastic any more.

ya.. same here, i think of the price, its like a 500D kit set prce.. but like what others had mentioned, the size of this m4/3 camera is the real selling point...
i am now looking at the lens available for m4/3 to see if its able to hv lenses that i normally use..
i wont be looking at the full 4/3 lens from olympus as i feel it totally defeat the purpose of a m4/3 concept if one would go for a lens that is similar to any other SLR lens (not to mention the weight balance of a small m4/3 body with a heavy lens)
