SF lights are not for every1, depends on useage, budget among other things.......
i still waiting for a replacement tailcap i place an order since Sept. thatz a long time out of action...luckily i have other lights.

It's true that SFs are over hyped what I like about SFs is the build quality & the TIR optics optimised for throw. I use have have a few Fenix lights but sold them away after liking the SF's build & quality.
For $100-200, there are afew other brand in the market which are worth getting, Jetbeam, Olight, Dereelight, Fenix, Liteflux.

actually im quite tempted with the inova inforce.. the CF body looks interesting!
someone go buy it and bring it for our outings please
Sore-eyez is interested. but CF body can't dissapate heat a bad design actually.
hmm i guess have to try to find those cheaper ones, or get those international calling card to call? at least thats what i did heh

a short call cost a few dollars only, not too ex better than buy 1 new tailcap.
true la, i more bothered about the ridges the unit has. like drop in mud need tooth brush to clean... :bsmilie:

which wan u refering to?
but i did, twice... 1 SF, 1 Inova.
it was less than 0.5years old for the 2 lights...

i have clickie lights from Fenix, Inova, Pelican, Streamlight & SureFire. Inova's X5 seems more reliable than the T-series, Streamlight Pro Polymers were problem free too. Fenix T1 is too new for me to comment.
headlamps from Pelican & Streamlight never have any clickie issues. my oldest headlamp is a Pelican from mid 2003, my Streamlights' still not old enough for my vote of confidence. :sweatsm:
