i got a problem with the 5600hs..

if i lift up the built in flash, i can see the red eye icon and the built in flash shoots 3 shots for red eye, when i plug in the 5600hs, there is no red eye icon, neither does it shoot 3 shots. how to solve this problem? the menu shows that i have selected red eye reduction.

External flash units do not need red eye reduction as they are more elevated from the lens than built in flash.

Stand closer to increase the angle of elevation of the flash or PS ;p

buy stroboframe. ;p

Stroboflip doesn't elevate the flash as much as some other flash brackets.

It is the best flash bracket for switching between shooting landscape or portrait shots.

EDIT: I mistook stroboframe as stroboflip. :embrass:

Ya. ;p So far I have not seen severe red eyes in my shots. At most it's slightly reddish.
