Wah lao today's France one so smoky, all the smoke is blown into my direction! I was standing at the Esplanade Bridge.

I think it depends on where you were. It was quite smoke free for me at Marina South.

I was along Marina Promanade, just under the Shares Bridge.

Tips? hmmmm.... well, am not that experts in Fireworks, i just do some research in the net and try few combinations, playing around with my A and S on my cam dial.

Just to let you all know that I heard some "news" (unconfirmed) that there will be a one night only fireworks display at the Esplanade next month, but is for the delegates of Singapore 2006 - IMF World Bank meeting.

However, I am sure photographers may be allowed to station themselves along Sheares Bridge or at other places except along Esplanade Drive...

Will post more IMF World Bank fireworks news when I get them..

Just to let you all know that I heard some "news" (unconfirmed) that there will be a one night only fireworks display at the Esplanade next month, but is for the delegates of Singapore 2006 - IMF World Bank meeting.

I heard from my friend that there would be fireworks on Aug 19 or something like tt too.. not sure about the date, but he did said that there would be fireworks again.

I was in a very bad spot.. was blocked by the barge on the river... caught a picture that looked like coconut trees on islands. the fireworks that sprouted out in the river.

Ya, I agreed on the smoke... Luckily, it paused for a while or the smoky effects will be worse...

Anyway, I was not in a very ideal spot... In fact, I don't like that spot, but no choice... No feeling about the shots...

But then never mind as I enjoyed my night-out with my NS-buddy which I hasn't seen for a while... ;p
