Does anyone know where get i get some film sleeves to store my negatives? 35mm and 120 format.

Ruby at peninsula sells both 120 and 35mm sleeves

$0.50 for a 35mm paper sleeve and $1.00 for a 35mm plastic sleeve.

Speaking of film sleeves, OT a bit. How do you guys destroy those unwanted negatives? I mean those test shots not worth keeping? Where do you store your film sleeves?

I keep mine in a clear folder.

My clear folder has 500pages if I am not wrong, just slide 10 film sleeves into one clear sleeve in the folder.

The other way is that if your film sleeves come with the ring folder lobang, can use ring folder. I'm sure office has alot of ring folder, can "burrow" one home :D

any idea where to buy one box at bulk price?
0.50c/piece or $1/peice is quite expensive wor...

There is a similar thread in the darkroom section or whatever

I never ever trash my negatives.

Only if the test shots are 6 frames of 30cm of only pictures of a flat bedroom scene. I will chuck them in my 'negatives' bag, but not in the trash.

For what it's worth, make sure to go with the plastic sleeves. I bought the paper ones there, and two weeks later I was taking them out to scan, and the paper had adhered to the negative because of all the humidity here. I had to yank them out and clean the paper off the negs with a cotton bud and alcohol before I could scan them. ;(

Plastic sleeves will also stick to film too.. so its not just a paper sleeve problem.. The only solution is not to store in a wet and humid place a.k.a. dry cabi...
