Field Test: Olympus XZ-1 by ortega

Hi all,

Just wondering about the video focusing problem i saw on some youtube videos. Even with slow movements the camera was trying hard to find a focus. Do any of u have that problem? Thanks.

Hi all,

I find the OLED display is patchy especially for dark areas/scenes (still photo). But the downloaded photo is ok.
Not sure if my display is faulty. Anyone has this issue?

Thank you.

I just collected my own oly xz-1 today ;)

Yes, very impressive for a P&S camera, not sure is it possible to &/or will it(XZ-1) be able to fit with any/original-Oly adapter...to enable the use of filter/s...?:)

Tia;)

There are 3rd party lens adapters that gives you a 52mm thread, I will update this thread when mine arrives :)

this screw thread gives you the 52mm thread to attach filters or other accessories

IMG_00582.JPG

this thread is to screw on to the camera

this is the screw thread on the camera that the lens adapter attaches to

Do you guys have a battery drain problem? If I leave the camera untouched , the battery drains slowly.
