A quick tips : (This is what I always do)

Upon arrival at airport of destination, I always pop by the bookstore to scan thru the postcard stand. Just to get an idea of how they capture pix of those places I will be visiting. After a few quick drawing in my little notebook, off I go to hunt for it. (this method apply if i'm shooting film)

If using digital camera, it will be much easier. Whip out your camera n capture the postcard, no drawing needed lor, can always refer back when needed
