zaren - two layers, play with opacity perhaps... if not the other way is to crop out the space and overlay it, making one layer more opaque lor lets see which he did

What i did was:
mixture of layers and crop out overlays, adjust the opacity of each layers
layer 1 : botak tree branches
layer 2 : sunset
layer 3 : crop out overlay of top clouds
layer 4 : crop out overlay of botom clouds

i think the botak tree branches could do a very fine image on its own...

Yeah, the botak tree is nice but the sky was dull. Thats why i play around with blending to create a more dramatic effect

Very nice capture :thumbsup: Just a nitpick though ... The first thing I noticed was that the pic was slightly tilted to the right. It would be nice if u can straighten it? Just a suggestion ;p

Hangout at Coffee Bean Funan quite abit.

While waiting for my drinks, testing out the 18-200VR. This pix was capture using 18-200VR.
Above pix was straight out of the camera without editing except resized.
I'm really impressed with the output.

thx for the critique. I had corrected the flaws pointed out. Hope it is better now.;p

This post-processing thingy is really killing me.:sweat: As I'm still in the transition period of converting
from SLR to DSLR, hence, all critique would be a great help in my learning process.

Normally, all boats are required to fly a flag of their origin except speedboat and small craft. This boat did not display any flag at all.

Am not too sure about the regulations,:dunno: just a wild guess :sticktong

I wish for ......

Saw this boy at River Hong Bao this evening trying his luck throwing coins at the bells. Guess lady luck was busy with someone else. After the 9th attempt ....... everyone teasing him and laughing away.

Why ??? he hit the third bell!!!
