Few questions

I have few questions .


What is this i-ttl and how does it work. Is there any web or other resources available to learn the difference between different TTL modes? (I tried for i-ttl but nothing much is available on web)

Are there any Nikonian in CS has Thom Hogans 'Nikon Flash Guide'? I think the book is currently out of print. I just want to have a look at it, if anybody is willing (I don't think one will sell it ).

(Very basic question) If you shoot in manual mode ('m') and use the flash does the flash output has any relation ship with the camera metering? Or it just tries to make the focused subject exposed?

Do you suggest spot metering with FV lock if flash is the main source of light (key flash) ? (For normal shoot I use mode 'm' with spot metering and I am very happy with the results)

One last question - I read from an article about ttl that the exposure is calculated by pre-flash. In that case what ever may be the head position (of course indoor) will I get correct exposure?
