What if the next Pentax DSLR has a shutter sound that will blow your mind, solid and quietly fast.

To be honest if the K-30 had had a much quieter shutter sound, siimilar to K-5, I would have bought the K-30.

Why didn't you go for the k5ii then? The focusing is much improved.

I also think pentax suppose to be cheaper. Or I will say well priced .. If it is more expensive than the comparable models.. Of course, other brands will still be chosen as people won't take a 2nd look at pentax.

i bought k-x (my 1st dslr) bcoz its red..haha...seriously even right now after 3 yrs+..i still dun know anything abt DR...hahaha

What I read on dpreview pentax forum is slightly different. The source was said to be someone who attended the pentax 20th millionth camera celebration in cebu, Philippines. He mentioned K-3 is 20.1MP(Sony A-58 sensor?), dual card slot, 100% viewfinder with 1.0 magnification (maybe that's why the larger hump?) and resolution close to 645D (algorithms for adjacent photosite sampling?)..

hee.. there are some who will buy pentax for colours. But i don't think I encounter much...Anyway, I just hope our new model can give more anticipation and exposure to others users... with it APS-C or FF to me..

Think I only know one person who uses Pentax for events does not find pentax lens limited though..

i buy 1st pentax because wide use of k mount lens in old days,
i bought my 2nd pentax because i like white dslr, as it stands out of those black crowds.
i bought my 3rd pentax because the yellow color strikes my eyes,
i like my 4th pentax must be pink bold mixed color, strikes everyone's sight

It should be aps-c.
With similar body size as K5....unless Pentax housed a FF sensor in a compact body....

I think you interpreted wrongly. When that someone mentioned people bought Pentax for colour and dynamic range, I believed he meant the colour output of the picture and not physical colour of the camera body. It is well know fact that Pentax produces beautiful output colour.
