FENGWEI---> HAVE YOU GOT PRE PRODUCTION COPY OF THE K-3 ?? ^_^

why is an articulated LCD screen for the upcoming K3 not on any-one's wish-list yet? are Pentaxians contortionists:dunno:?

i'm quoting this, so that we can see it again on page 10 :)

You and news of the new camera have just sent the entire Pentax community into frantic disarray ......all over again ....... :bsmilie:

We'll see which one looks better... :p

I believe if this will just a small update, I'll pass for the second time around...

K2 still looks better for its metal finishing than the plastic silver.

I agreed that the old K2 is what a good camera should look like. It is even good enough to be brought down to the next generation. Like what watch maker Patek Philippe mentioned in its advertisement, you never really own it but just look after it for the next generation.

I still missed my K5 silver. If the K3 does offer a silver version, will definitely grab one if it is readily available. =) Hopefully the video feature (1080p is enough. Not 4K please!) will not disappoint. I do hope the AF will be on par or better if compared with the C and N.

The pre production unit should be with some or a few or one of us I believe, tomorrow the K3 facts will be revealed ! like in your "Full Framed" photos.

I heard that it is a marked improvement from K5, that's good to hear. Now all that is left to decide is the price. :)

yap..... even if it is APSC.... if price correctly.... around current D7100/70D price but with much better specs (like it always do).... then its good news for Pentaxian... and potential Pentaxian....

I wish there will be signifiant improvement over k5ii too.

What they should really improve on is the AFC and the P-TTL flash system.. These have been weaknesses for Pentax DSLRs for quite some time now.

I don't care much about higher Megapixels when it's on an APS-C sensor ...... to curb the noise, more aggressive noise suppression has to be applied and this will also mean that fine image details could be removed in the process.

Fengwei, if you can, please run some tests on the AFC and the P-TTL flash on the K3. Let us know your findings. TIA.
