Some PP styling from previous, plus more experimentation.
(I know, I know. Documentary shots shouldn't be PP-ed and be as natural as possible)

wow...great shots guys!
Lots of details and experimentation too.
Did not know that even ladies take part in the ritual...an eye opener and impressed on the level of pain the devotees go through.

Dennis : Hope your ankle is better..

:)

It's really amazing how they endure all those piercings.

Contrary to popular belief, piercing does hurt... a lot.

Poor guy.

I've got some unprocessed shots to share, along with the babes shots, but it'll have to wait till tonight. ;)

Wow! Great photos by all you guys! Really envy you guys. I went to the same event in the previous two years, but never captured pretty ladies like what you guys did this time :(

Joseph, your 77 works the best for this kind of event  Just like it did on my K100D 2 years back.

Baracus, congrats on the new K135/2.5 lens. It's a great performer, I was almost tempted to buy it back again when I saw it at the b&s forum. And some excellent shots already, looking forward to seeing more.

Desmond, it's nice to have a zoom lenses w/ you for such an event, but I do feel those from the DA70 look the best :) It's good to see you have this wonderful lenses fully utilized this time.

Bernard, you should've asked me before you go. I'd've told you that the best time to go is on the second morning :)

Denis, hope your ankle is much better now. My son had a high fever (over 40 dC!) on Friday night, and it lasted till Sat afternoon. But he's been okay since Sat night. Hopefully he'd remain the same today, then he'd go back to school from tomorrow.

Good to know that your son's well again. :D
Franz (a new Pentaxian) called me at 5.30 asking me if I wanted to go, and I also wanted to test out if these FA ltds can do 'Low light'. So I went. The FA Ltds are just incredible ... I didn't regret a single cent buying these! And the FA 31 and 77 are so sharp even though it's f2! Colors you see on the screen were also very accurate, and what's best - small package, no need for flash, unobtrusive!

Desmond, I particularly like the DA 70 shot!

Baracus, my kind of pp! ;)

Joseph, wonderful coverage of the event!

got quite a few close up of piercing, here's a few to share...

There's more where that came from. ;)

I'm loving the 135/2.5 for the headshots. Needs more practice though. No Pentaxian candids this time around. Sorry guys.
