Family in NZ

i agreed with you... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

by the way TS, have you use any kind of filter to these good photo?

Thanks for all the comments.

no physical filter.

but some are heavily post processed as the background/sky are very bright compared to the foreground. Usually I meter to make sure the sky doesn't get blown and I just lift up the shadows (foreground) using photoshop.

Thanks for sharing.
Your photos brought back a lot of memories for me ;)
Especially like your shot of the Church of Good Shepherd. Good one!

Thanks for sharing.
It brought back fond memories for my family when last visited NZ in 2003.
We hired a MPV upon arrvial at Christchurch.
Drove to Queenstown and back to the tip of North Island. Took the ferry to Wellington and drove all the way to Auckland before flying back to SG.
At that time, I only had an Olympus C5050. :)

NZ photos always bring back fond memories for me having spent 9 yrs there, great shots indeed, perhaps time for me to go back after 19 yrs ;)

LOVE THEM! Your travel and family pictures define how they should be done.

thanks for all the kind comments.

29. One of the FEW family pics. Taken by my father in law. I liked this shot because it is VERY NEW ZEALAND. Snow capped mountains, long white clouds and .... SHEEP.

It was REALLY windy and chilly at that time so we could not stay for long although the clouds were quite dramatic.

TS :

i can immediately sense the family bond and love in all of your pictures :)

both the emotional and landscape qualities came shining through vividly

thanks for sharing...i enjoyed them thoroughly

Alan happy family we are proud of you,I will do fill flash/-1 or -1.5ev for overcast weather like these.
Cheers

Very nice photos. Reminded of my family trip in 1977 when the boys are still 5 & 8. Next March we are going back to North Island for 12 days. Renting a MPV and staying in baches all over!

1977?? Is that a typo? :)

That is over 30 years ago.... I have never been to North Island though I have been to South Island twice. Maybe I should try to go North Island. I heard there is more "different" things to see there like volcanoes, coastal landforms, etc.
