one thing about F31fd is that the pic color straight out from camera can be quite dull
unless u have chosen "chrome" feature. If not, have to do post-processing on color
adjustment.

pardon my noobness, is this camera a video cam, dSLR or a prosumer? *clueless*

and OT abit, what does "100% crops" actually means??

The Fuji F31d is a digital camera. But it can also take videos as most dc can.
If you want to upload a pic, you will need to resize it so that it can be displayed, else the pic will turn out to be huge. A 100% crop simply means cropping off a portion of the original image without resizing it. This is normally done to display sharpness or other optical abnormalities.

No, it's in "manual" mode. Don't really like the FD anyway. Yesterday my wife shot many kids photos with fd on, don't seems to help improve on her shots(just like without any gimmicky help).
