Haha, yup, LOTR is exactly what firstly came into my mind when I saw the photo. It's really strange that I didn't realized this when I took the shot. You know, when you are in the view, you just feel everything is so natural. But when you see a pic of the view, you may link it to some scenes seen before.

Singdude, you are right, it's taken in the path of mountain Kinabalu. Just back from the trip this week. I am surprised that you can remember the views there. Is it because the trees are kind of unique? Amazing thing is that, I didn't do any edit with the photos. I really love F31 now.

just when I was going to buy f31fd, fujifilm makes another new camera, f40fd:

from the spec, seem f40 is improvement from f20
The good things if compare to F31:
1. Hv SD card slot
2. Bigger sensor
3. Bigger Mega Pixel

But will smaller capacity of batt compare to F31.
In the spec I think 3:2 shd be 3504 x 2336

Found something strange: pix taken with Full Auto mode (idiot proof) seems to be much nicer than those taken with A/S mode!! How so??:dunno:

By nicer, I mean the full auto ones seem to have much less in-camera sharpening effect and looks smoother than the other modes.

Or is it just my example that has this problem?

Appreciate your experience.

yes and it has less iso too.
The reason can be a comercial method... Because the people really think than at much more mpx have one camera better, but we know that exist other parameters that justify that the f31fd is the best option in the market.

Yeah, possible, if u use manual mode, and the setting is not right, end up poor result.
Also have to check what is your ISO setting.
