passed by Best@Plaza SG today, they're still selling the F11 at 699. Don't see any F30 anywhere displayed.

Handled the F30 at Alan photo yesterday. they are selling it for about $570 with a 512 MB card. The camera looks a very good performer.

I called up the following shops and see quotes below:

1. Alan Photo - $577 wgst; include 512 Mb card + Case, Made in China.
2. Cathay@Peninsula - $600 wgst; include 512Mb card + Case, Made in Japan.
3. Cathay@Marina - $610 wgst; include 512Mb card + Case, Made in China.
4. MS Color@AMK - $599 wgst; include 1Gb card + case, Made in Japan.

I am very confused, some say F30 is made in Japan, some not.

When you checked out F30@Alan, did you notice whether it's printed Made in Japan at the bottom of the camera?

Well, it's possible that there are different batches of F30. Since Fujifilm only shifted some of its operations to China and not all.

Anyway, just bought 1 from MS Colors. $599 with 1Gb card. Made in China.
