Really no horse run. :)

I can even see the logos of the airline companies that will eventually own A380. :o

Really very nice shots & very well done.

Thanks for the C&C guys! :D

My setup is:

Nikon D2X with Nikkor AF-I 300mm F2.8 + Nikkor AF-I TC-14E ;p

ISO 100
RAW Format
Shutter speed between 1/1000~1/2000

I did plane spotting on every weekend for the past 2 years so I already have a lot of practice ahead  I'm also an aviation fan so I'm no stranger to how the photo should be composed ke ke ke... If anyone got any question can just ask and I will try to share the knowledge if I know.

The static display photos will be up soon (hopefully). So stay tuned.

thanks for sharing, your closeup are really stunning!

One word..

AWESOME!!!!!!

Makes me wanna hide all those junk photos I've shot!

btw, dun think the f18 broke the sound barrier.. if it does.. ur 300mm f2.8 may crack.. :bsmilie:

Wow, so sharp and clear. Portrait of the fighters !
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I am no fans of planes but these shots are great!
Lovely composition!

Excellent sharpness, especially the solo aircraft shots.

300mm with 1.4X TC and 1.5X crop factor is 630mm (35mm film equivalent) !

I took some OK photos, but compared to your photos suddenly nowhere hide

The light is quite poor on Sat and Sun, did you take these photos earlier?

Fantastic shots! Respect my friend.

Wow your tele is so close that the A380 is too big for the lens! Amazing.

Best shots I have seen. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I took on Friday which I think has got the best weather among all the days :D But the sky on friday only clear for a small window during the flying display which is quite heng

一 流 的 摄 影 技 术  :bheart:

Beautiful & sharp

You've set a benchmark that's hard to reach.:sweatsm:

hello,

can I ask whether the shots are taken on sat or sun? cos the weather on sat was overcast quite a bit of haze...

overall it was the best pic i have seen from the aerial display... cheers..

Fantastic Photo.....

These are by far, the BEST plane pictures I have seen in a long time. I unfortunately didn't go this year but after looking at your wonderful shots, I wish I had. The details are amazing. So clear, sharp and the colours are brilliant. Did you do any post processing? And one of my favorites of the A380 is the head on shot. How did you manage to get this? Was it flying straight towards the crowd at eye level or did you have some high vantage point that no one else did? My first thought was that it was coming in for a landing and you were at the end of the runway but the absence of wheels down takes that away.

I'm impressed. Your line-up of lens is a photographers dream come true. Looking forward to seeing more.

Here's the remaining shots of the air display

F18 breaking the sound barrier! A bit blur though.

Haha, I'm really outdated. Bcos left look, right look, dun think it's a real F18 that I used to see, esp comparing to my modeling figure. So do a search. It's actually call the Super Hornet F/A-18E/F model, no wonder so different!

Nevertheless, your photos are damn chio lor!!!

Cheers!

Cheers!
