But at least he got over sitting in that tight space. There are people who get clautophobic sitting in that small space for a long time as it is very restrictive. To learn how to use all those feature on the steering wheel will take time but not impossible. It depends on his learning curve. That's what I find so amazing about these F1 drivers...apart from racing you also have to be like an engineering...you have to understand your car and make mechanical changes to it as you race along the track, compete withother cars int eh front and rear and still have to take time to adjust your car's fuel perfromance and other settings. All this at about 300km/h

Yeah, if he mananged to adapt all those quickly. He's

again..if he really comes to F1..he won't be moving around like a monkey anymore!! :bsmilie:

According to reports i've read on BBC sport, in his 1st few testing, Rossi was approx 3 full seconds behind Shumi's timing at Ferrari's test track, Imola.

He then reduce it to about 1.5-2 secs behind shumi. Not much but in F1, its a great deal. He will do more testing for Ferrari in 2006.

Other MotoGP riders will be glad to see the last of him. :bsmilie:

Well in terms of pole position 1.5 to 2 second is like 10 cars back! heheh... Yup it is a great deal...great deal off the mark heheheh... Plus a car that is not up to spec for Shummi could have played a part..not a lot but could be a part. The test run is with how many cars? Just him and Shummi or 20 cars like in an actual race where you have to fight your way up? hehe

No doubt he has potential and most likely in a way it is about National pride. Just like Bar would love to have have Sato in the team ..nothing like a Jap car with a Jap driver. So if Rossi does it well...that would go far to be in an Italian car too.

Yeah, and Rossi admits that it has no freedom in F1 car as he can "swing" around on his bike. That's why in the first few testing laps he spins and make mistake.. etc. Already won with Honda and Yamaha. He might consider jumping to Ducati (but i prefer him coming to f1.. :bsmilie: )

He did mentioned that e Mclaren "Ice-man" sounds very boring during his press conference!!! :sweatsm:

Test run should be either by himself or with Shummi only? Heehee, would love it if he can really jump onto 4 wheels.

So worried for Sato. Really hope he could get a sit for 2006 race. Jenson gonna be in trouble when they reach Japan..

They did a timed lap test. Not one to one race. A time trail accoring to BBC.

Plese be quiet and give respect when "Ice-man" is giving his speech in press conference. As I said, he is citing prayers for the safety of all F1 drivers.:bsmilie:

Remember in 2003 when he Sato was driving for Jordan. He finished 5th in front of his home crowd and.....boy that guy really happyyy..

And I can remember also that the Jordan Pit Crews all wearing the Rising Sun Bandana.

I Hope this year race ..Sato will BANZAI for BAR.:flame:

Yeah, hope the japanese driver can score points...

Don't know how aggressive will be jap fans be... as Sato is out of Honda next year.... :'(

Hmm......Sato out of BAR Honda but does not mean out of F1. Williams got a drive avaliable i think and maybe the smaller teams will be interested. He might even be a test driver. Still got a big Jap team....TOYOTA!!

Yeah, but his current place at Honda is good enuff for winning race. If he goes to Jordan-toyata etc. He might not have the speed to fight with others. Ohh yah btw, is T0yota seat confirm for 2006? :D

The Doctor wins again! Sete Gibernau, Max Biaggi, Marco Melandri and gang will be glad to see the last of Rossi if he moves to F1. :bsmilie:
