Hi

I finally attended my first F1 this year.

Realized that I can't take photographs well as I'm behind the fence.

Is there anyway to get in front of the fence to take photos?
Kindly advise as I am planning for next year's f1

thanks

I assume you mean when the cars are on the circuit .... dont court death

As Kei has pointed out , use a longer lens, shoot wide open and if your camera body's AF CMI, manually focus farther out where the cars are

Then pan it .... and viola ! Fences suddenly 'disappear'

that's what i do... i use manual focus to scope out the spot which i know majority of the cars will pass by on. Not that my cam's AF is lousy, but that's my preference

get a super long mono pod and raise your camera over the fence . set your camera to interval shooting and hope it has articulated screen to have live view.

or climb a tree . i heard it is the hallmark of a true pro
