My brand new EP-11, bring to Chiang Mai 1st day only drop off liao.
The design of the eyecup is really horrible. When you sling it, it brushes against your body. So if you brush it hard, it will get detached and drop off.
$30 fly away just like that.

I just bought 2 the other day while I was in hongkong.. the standard one and the bigger eyepiece .. I should have bought 2 of the standard eyepiece

Mine only the rubber piece fell off .. the metal one was still attached to the body

I like this 3D puzzle. If yours also happen to have your fall apart like mine, make sure you don't loose that 4 tiny pins. I found mine in the heap of rubber when I clean out the plastic pieces before epoxy all of the parts back together.

Yup , from Oly service centre. Alternatively u can order from the online Oly store but stocks there are generally not updated.

Do call to check for stocks before going down.

Order Mac or KFC also even got minimum sum before they even willing to deliver and they still charge a premium on top too.

But glad u got it from the online store, always saw that it's out of stocks and I had to call and reserve in the past.

Hmm , no la, not dumb. I guess you ordered online to save the time and hassle of going down Oly Svc Ctr too. Time saved is always worth it.

Bro. I've read that many folks overseas add a little glue to the cup so it doesn't drop off.

Yup , there's a way to use gaffer tape to secure the eyecup too. Once I did that for the EM5 I never had any more worries or issues

I was thinking like you before I ordered the rubber eye cap. But looking at those plastic eye cap exposing without I started to worry it will break apart sooner or later. So with the rubber eye cap covered, I will feel more safe slinging it around my shoulder.
