u can submit anytime between 31st dec 8:30pm and 1st jan 2006 12:30am.

nope, its not compulsory. the briefing is meant to give participants a better understanding of the event and the photos that we are looking for. if u do not hv time to attend the briefing and hv queries, u can always approach any of the volunteers at bras basah on 30th dec and 31st dec or jus drop us an email anytime.

none of the participants will get their negatives and digital scans at the prelim selection. they will only be returned at the book launch/exhibition sometime in jul 2006.

Only 1 roll of B & W can be submitted? Seems pretty limited lah

I won't be in S'pore on 14 & 15 Jan for the selection.

no problem, u can submit more than one application forms. one application = 1 roll:)

as for not being able 2 make in on 14th and 15th, the organisers will make the selection on ur behalf.

Meaning for every application form, we have to pay $12? The fee is not dependent on the participant but the number of forms submitted?

yes, u r rite. so if u wan 2 submit more than 36 images, u can by submitting more than one application.

u can oso submit seperate entries to do digital and film at the same time

just a suggestion: a website with registration and submission online for those who
cannot make it back to submit, due to other duties (like me)

you might be able to get a major printer manufacturer to sponsor this.
have a good shoot

they allow submission by proxy. just need to give your friend your pictures as well as the Terms & Conditions leaflet.
 

Pretty fun. loll...Do about 13 hours of shooting...

I couldn't make it to the selection last Sat, as my wife gave birth on that day.
Yes sounds surreal, but it's true I am now a 1st time daddy.
I have dropped an email to you but no reply yet. I really hope that I still hv a chance of selecting my shots.

If anyone outhere has any other contact details for eye e city committee pls pm me.

the T&C mentioned that if you can't make it for the selection day, they will select 3 pictures on your behalf for you. if that's the case, then sure at least 1 will kena published :bsmilie:
