You wandered off to which area? CCA?

Central catchment area, i'm starting to collect forest damsel shots.

Saw 2 nos of Vestalis amethystina, but lighting was too challaging to secure a decent shots......:cry:

there are also Podolestes orientalis in that same area.

The females are the hardest to ID as they are more drab. :sweat::sweat:
 



The best part is she was singing : All I want for Christmas... ;)

and look where she's pointing... :cool:
 

Just a lousy record of Female Vestalis amethystina, actually both male and female have very similar colour, so have to look at the tail for ID.

Btw, they are as big as or bigger those skimmer we see in pond.
