yeah i went to take a look at your flickr yesterday night/this morning. looked pretty challenging, the lighting and angles.

Well, have to practise mah... :bsmilie:

it's good fun, running along and the ushers and cisco guards were like, are these 2 fellas from any media companies?? whahaha they didn't even bother us when we were standing in the middle of the road.

Definitely very challenging!

And just imagine the crowds!

It could make for very interesting shots.

Well, I'm sure you did what you could. Sometimes even a FE would be great in such situations!

What was the widest you were shooting with yesterday?

Yeah... when I covered that BCF Pink Ribbon Walk, one lady actually came up to me and asked which media I was from. Wanted to buy some pics from me.... hehe

Last night? About 11:40 or so...

Yeah ... there's this thing about perceptions and misconceptions. BIIG camera = professional photographer. People have not been walking around Singapore with their eyes open most of the time.

I remembered this one time I was some Citibank lounge thing, and I had my then 40D and baat grip and hotshoe flash, and was told that professional cameras were not allowed in. I asked what makes mine a professional camera, and was replied, "It's so big!"

I said, "Big camera means professional?", and the executive (mind you - EXECUTIVE and not some heartland ah-soh or sweeper!) replied, "Yes".

Larkily the girls I was with were not in tight, skimpy clothes if not that Executive might have told me that PROfessional HOOKERS were also not allowed in!

LOLZ!
