Say, are the exchange rates better here, or in HK? I'm thinking I'll just transfer funds to you first, just on case, and don;t change until you get to HK if the exchange rate is better there. Would it be safe if you carried all that cash, or would using travellers checks, or credit cards be safer (are you going with your parents)?

If you have a credit card, yu cld just keep the cash in the bank (as security) and use yr CC first.
